Dosa me Up was founded by Rachel Parsons. Her love of Indian food blossomed in the year 2000 when she met her curry loving fella in Somerset.
Since then, she has been cooking veggie curries of all descriptions. Knowing that she didn't want to go back to working in an office after having kids, the concept of 'Dosa Me Up' was born.
Rachel was lucky enough to meet a fantastic lady from South India who gave her inspiration and knowledge in the 'art of making Dosa'!
After feeding her family and friends plenty of Masala Dosa, she finally took the plunge and with the help of her lovely mum Ellie, she started her own street food stall, Dosa Me Up, in May 2014 and she's loving bringing an alternative vegetarian option to the streets of the South West.
Dosa's are crispy pancakes made from a fermented rice an urid dahl batter and traditionally stuffed with Masala potatoes.
They are naturally wheat and gluten free and typically served with fresh coconut chutney and sambhar.
Sambhar is a dahl free of onions and garlic and flavoured with sambhar powder and tamarind.
Our produce is wholly vegetarian with plenty of vegan options being offered. Dosa Me Up also offers gluten free dishes.
Having competed against 92 other stalls, Dosa-Me-Up was judged ‘Best in Show’ at Burnham-on Sea’s 5th food festival.
